J-Core® Insulation System for Concrete Sandwich Panels

The J-Core® Sandwich Panel Insulation System is pre-drilled for easy connector installation and can be made in single layer thickness from 2” to 6” thick. All materials used in our System are UL tested and made in the USA.

J-Core® utilizes pre-drilled high density, closed cell, expanded polystyrene insulation board with 1mil polyethylene facer on both sides to act as a slip sheet bond breaker to complete the non composite design. The connector ties are manufactured from heat and alkaline resistant, engineered polymers to connect the concrete wythes of the sandwich panels through the insulation layer. The insulation board is a single layer application (up to 6” in thickness) to help reduce labor cost.
